Hallie Mabrey (Needham, MA) put up a valiant effort against 25th-ranked Nicole Pontee in the one spot, but lost 6-3, 6-2.
The Dutchwomen return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 15 for a 4 p.m. match against RPI. The team then heads to Ithaca, NY on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18 for the New York State Championships.
