SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The William Smith tennis team defeated Union 7-2 this afternoon. The win improves the Herons record to 6-3, while the Dutchwomen fall to 2-6.

Roni Brumberger (Scarsdale, NY) won at #2 singles for Union, 6-3 and 6-0 over Amanda Slack. She also was the winner at #2 doubles with teammate
Kathleen Rucci (Schenectady, NY), with an 8-4 triumph.
At third singles, Heron Shari Damon pulled out an exciting 5-7, 6-3, 14-12 win over Rucci. Gaby Berkman and Chelsea Rauck both won in straight sets for William Smith.
Union hosts New Paltz on April 12 at 1 p.m.
