Roni Brumberger (Scarsdale, NY) rallied in the second singles spot to post a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory against Hamilton junior Laura Brantley (Chattanooga, TN).
Senior
Brittany Miller (Scituate, MA) also came back after dropping her first set. She claimed the Dutchwomen's second singles win in the fourth spot with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 win against freshman Carly Hachy (Mamaroneck, NY)
Freshman
Brittany Gilbert (North Kingstown, RI) earned her first career victory with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 win against freshman Amelia Mattern (Marshfield, MA)
In doubles play, Union received a win from the tandem of senior
Kathleen Rucci (Schenectady, NY) and Brumberger. They defeated sophomore Deborah Barany (Falcon Heights, MN) and Hachy, 8-2.
The Dutchmen return to the court on Monday, Sept. 15 for a home contest against St. Rose at 4 p.m.
