TROY, NY – The Union College women's tennis team lost to cross-town rival Rensselaer Polytechic Institute, 6-3, on Thursday afternoon at Sharp Courts. Union heads to the Liberty League Championship this weekend with a record of 3-9.

Hallie Mabrey earned a pair of wins against the Engineers. Teaming up with Elise Malkin, the duo defeated Christine Roe and Jessica Sitzer 8-6 in No. 1 doubles. Mabrey defeated Roe again in No. 1 singles with a score of 6-3, 6-4.

Liz Lehman picked up Union's third point in the No. 6 spot, defeating Jeanette Carillo 6-4, 6-1.
