Women's tennis falls 7-2 despite Gaudian's comeback

Dee Dee Gaudian rallied for an impressive singles win against New Paltz on Saturday.
SCHENECTADY, NY - The Union College women's tennis team fell 7-2 to SUNY New Paltz in a dual match at the Union College Tennis Courts. Union fell to 5-6 on the season while New Paltz improved to 10-7. Union's Dee Dee Gaudian had the most impressive effort of the afternoon. Down a set and trailing 5-1, Gaudian rallied for a second set victory, and then earned the match victory in the tiebreaker. The Union doubles team of Andria Coopersmith and Samantha Muratori also earned an 8-4 win for the Dutchwomen.

Union will continue Liberty League play at Bard next Wednesday in a dual match that begins at 6:00 p.m.
