TROY, N.Y. - Powered by a clean sweep in singles and doubles action, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team defeated Union College, 9-0 in Liberty League action at Sharp Courts. The Dutchwomen fell to 6-8 and 1-4 in league play.
The Engineers and the Dutchwomen will both be back in action this weekend, taking part in the 2012 Liberty League Tournament. The meet, which will be hosted by Vassar College, begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.
