Final Results

MIDDLEBURY, VT -- Adam Herzog, Andrew Welch and Zack Wahl helped lead the Union men's swimming & diving team to dominating victory at Middlebury College Saturday. The Dutchmen won 163.5 to 136.5.

Welch won the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.56, and also took the 200 backstroke at 2:00.34. He also joined Wahl, John Engquist and Ben Nadareski as the Dutchmen won the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:32.46.

Wahl was first at the 200 butterfly, as he had a time of 1:57.34. He won the 200 IM at 2:01.79 and was second in the 100 free at 49.22.

Other highlights included Adam Herzog's win in the 200 free at 1:46.57 and his win in the 500 free at 4:50.44. John Enquist took first in the 200 breaststroke at 2:10.51 and Cameron Robertson won the three meter diving event with a score of 278.25. Union took first place in the 200 free relay at 1:27.05, featuring Herzog, Billy Phillips, Christopher Koster and Herzog at 1:27.05. John Enquist was second at 1:01.46 in the 100 breaststroke and Christopher Koster's time of 55.50 was also second in the 100 back. Nadareski had a second place finish in the 50 free and Matthew Hellauer's time of 4:50.79 was second in the 500 free.

Union will host Hamilton next Saturday for Senior Day at 2 p.m.
