Hoyt Highlights Dutchmen in Dual Meet Against Williams

SCHENECTADY, NY - Freshman Sam Hoyt won both diving events while junior Benjamin Nadareski and sophomore John Enquist won their respective events as Union lost to Williams, 200-97, in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

Hoyt out performed Williams' Rohan Bhatt in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events to lead the Dutchmen with 18 points. The freshman posted scores of 317.55 in the 3-meter and 316.87 in the 1-meter to claim both events.

Nadareski took home first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.73 and Enquist won the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall at 2:13.42.

The Dutchmen collected two second place finishes as well with senior Andrew Welch in the 100-yard backstroke (52.47) and Enquist in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.55).

Union will be back in action for the Liberty League Championships held at University of Rochester and Webster High School from December 5th through the 7th.
