POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Host Vassar College (1-0) won all six singles matches as the Brewers won all six singles matches en route to an 8-1 victory over Union College (2-3) jon Saturday.
At number one singles, junior Natalia Pronchick dropped a hard-fought match to Kate Christensen of Vassar as Christensen won, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2.
The Dutchwomen's number one doubles team of Pronchick and freshman Paige Webster defeated Lauren Stauffer and Kelsey Van Noy, 9-7. That gave Union its only point of the match.
