SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Playing its first home match since early October, Union fell to William Smith, 8-1, in a Liberty League match held at the Union Tennis Courts.

Union's lone point came at No. 4 singles, where Hayley Lough extended her singles win streak to four matches, defeating Sydney Arsenault, 6-4, 6-1.  Union pushed two other singles flights to match tie-breakers with Natalia Pronchick falling 6-3, 3-6, 10-3 to Hannah More at No. 1 singles, and Lena Diller losing to Alex Cattie, 6-1, 4-6, 10-5.

The Dutchwomen travel to SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday.
