SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union saw its two-match winning streak snapped with a 9-0 loss to Skidmore Sunday afternoon. Skidmore (2-0, 2-0 LL), which has won five straight Liberty League titles, extended its conference win streak to 36 matches.
Hayley Lough dropped her first singles match since last spring with a hard-fought 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 setback to Madie Benn at No. 2 singles. Natalia Pronchick started her day with a service break in an eventual 8-3 loss at No. 1 doubles, and claimed three more games in a straight sets loss at No. 1 singles. Rookie Julianne Loree also claimed three games in a 6-1, 6-2 loss to Brianna Greene at No. 3 singles.
