SCHENECTADY, NY--The 20th-ranked Union College men's hockey will be playing its third game in five days when it goes on the road to take on Holy Cross on Tuesday. The Dutchmen return to ECAC Hockey play this weekend, hosting 16 Yale and Brown.
UNION VS. HOLY CROSS ALL-TIME SERIES
Tuesday's game marks just the fourth meeting between the two teams in Union's Division I era. The Crusaders lead the all-time series 2-1-0. The teams last played on Feb. 4, 2005 with the Dutchmen posting a 4-2 win. Scott Seney scored a pair of goals for Union, which snapped a seven-game losing streak with the victory.
SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
Holy Cross improved to 3-1-1 with a 3-0 win against Brown on Friday night. Scott Pooley had a goal and an assist and Dalton Skelly and Mike Barrett each registered a pair of helpers. In goal, Pat Berrafato made 23 saves for his first shutout of the season. T.J. Moore leads the Crusaders with six goals and is tied with Barrett for the team high with eight points. Barrett has produced a team-best six assists. Berrafato has played all five games, posting a .913 save percentage and a 2.55 goals against average. Holy Cross received three votes in the latest USCHO.com Poll released Monday, Oct. 31.
OUT OF THE GATE
Union is out to its best start through seven games since the 2012-13 season, when it also started 6-1-1. The 2012-13 squad finished 22-13-5, winning the ECAC Hockey conference championship and advancing to the NCAA East Regional semifinal.

Union checked in at No. 20 on the latest USCHO.com poll released Monday, Oct. 31, making its first appearance in the top-20 poll since Oct. 19, 2015.
