ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.—The Union College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat against Birmingham-Southern College, Monday morning in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
 
The Dutchwomen go to 3-5, while the Panthers, who are ranked 15th in the Atlantic South Region, improve to 6-2.
 
Birmingham-Southern swept doubles play and did not drop a set in singles en route to the 9-0 win.
 
Union continues its Spring Break trip Tuesday, March 22, taking on St. Scholastic and Elmhurt College. The Dutchwomen face the Saints at 1:30 p.m. before playing the Bluejays at 7 p.m.
