ORLANDO, Fla.—The Union College women's tennis team had a nearly perfect end to its Spring Break trip, posting wins against St. Scholastica and Elmhurst on Tuesday night at the Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando, Fla.

The Dutchwomen (5-5) battled to a 6-3 come-from-behind win against the Saints in their first match of the day before dominating their second match of the day against the Bluejays, 8-1.

Against St. Schoalstica, Union trailed 2-1 heading into singles. Mina Hsia and Natalia Pronchick picked up the team's first point of the day, winning 8-4 at number two doubles.

Union bounced back in singles play, winning fix of six matches. Pronchick added her second win of the day at number one singles, beating Jessica Solberg 6-3, 6-4. Haley Lough was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at number three and Paige Webster recorded a 6-4, 6-3 victory at number four, clinching the match for the Dutchwomen. Julianne Loree notched a 6-2, 7-5 win at number five and Lena Diller battled to a three set win, 6-3, 3-6, 10-4, over Katelyn Rice at number six.

In the nightcap, Union pulled out to a 2-1 lead in doubles Hsia and Pronchick's second number two doubles win of the day (8-3), and an 8-4 win at number three by Diller and Loree.

The Dutchwomen kept rolling in singles, securing all six matches and dropping just one set. Pronchick grinded out a 6-7, 6-1, 13-11 win at number one and Mina Hsia added a 6-4, 6-3 victory at number two, giving them each four wins on the day. Webster (6-0, 6-1), Loree (6-1, 6-0) and Diller (6-0, 6-1) dropped just three games combined at number four, five and six, respectively, and Lough posted a 6-2, 6-4 win at number three.

The Dutchwomen go on the road to take on Stevens Tech Sunday, April 3.
