ROCHESTER, NY - The Union College women's tennis team was edged out by University of Rochester in the opening match of the spring season Saturday in Rochester, NY.

The Dutchwomen are now 0-4 on the season while Rochester improves to 2-1 on the season.

First-year Natalia Pezzuco took home the lone win Union in the 8-1 loss to the Yellowjackets. Pezzuco swept her No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1 to capture a point for the Dutchwomen.

Union will be back on the court tomorrow as they play RIT in Pittsford, NY. The matches are scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.University of Rochester 8, Union College 1
