Dutchmen Can't Keep Pace with #11 Williams

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Union College men's swimming team finished off the 2019 calendar year with a 208-58 loss at CSCAA #11 Williams College on Saturday afternoon.
 
Freshman Jack Tucker earned the lone individual win of the day for the Dutchmen, finishing the 200 individual medley in 2:01.34. The 400 freestyle relay of seniors Owen Perks and Luis Angel, sophomore Zachary Cormier and freshman Marcus Diaz also took first with a time of 3:37.61.
 
Individually, Cormier took third place in the 1000 freestyle, touching in 10:57.07, while Perks also grabbed third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.24.
 
Diaz also grabbed a third-place finish in the 100 freestyle with a finish of 52.87, while senior Seif Refaat also took third as well in the 100 butterfly by finishing in 54.59.
 
Union will take a break from competition for the remainder of the calendar year before returning to the pool on January 11 with a tri-meet with Hartwick College and Springfield College on January 11.
