SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Union College's men's hockey forwards Cole Maier and Sebastian Vidmar have been named to the group of 2018-19 Krampade All American Scholars, the American Hockey Coaches Associated announced Tuesday.

To be named an All American Scholar, student-athletes must attain a 3.60 grade-point average each term during the year and participate in 40% of the their institution's games. A small number of waivers to the 40% participation requirement was granted due to injury and for goaltenders.

A total of 497 Division I men and women's student-athletes were named to the list.
