SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Members of the Union College men's and women's outdoor track and field programs will head to Williams College for the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Championships, hosted at Williams' Weston Athletic Complex on May 14-15.

Union will have 17 student-athletes competing in a total of 13 events over the two days, as the Garnet Chargers look to put up some points and potentially make a run at earning spots at the NCAA Championships.

Union's top-ranked entry this week is sophomore Ashley Sheldon, who ranks fourth among AARTFC qualifiers in the high jump and in a four-way tie for 19th nationally with a mark of 1.67 meters that won her a second straight Liberty League title on May 2. With the top-22 heights earning a spot at next week's NCAA Championships, Sheldon is on the cusp of qualifying for nationals for the second straight year, but may need to get closer to her career-best of 1.70 meters to book her spot in Geneva, Ohio.

Senior Cat Dacey will look to close out her record-setting career with another good performance in the 1,500 meters. The senior, who has set or reset school outdoor records in the 800, 1,500 and 5,000 this season and qualified for regionals in all three, ran the 1,500 in a program-record time of 4:41.10 at the RPI Capital District Classic on April 25 and is seeded 12th. First-year Kyleigh Record will also go record-hunting in the 800 meters, as she is seeded eighth after posting the second-fastest 800 time in program history at the Trinity Invitational on April 19, with her time of 2:16.25 less than a second behind Dacey's program standard. Senior Gabby Baker will make her last lap around the track for Union in Saturday's 400-meter dash and sophomore Annabel Dobash is seeded 12th in the 5,000 meters for Union, while first-year Lauryn Johnson will represent the Union women in the throwing events, taking part in the javelin throw.

On the men's side, senior Ben Neff is the top-seeded participant after a time of 3:53.13 in the 1,500 meters at the RPI Capital District Classic seeded him third for the event. He will be joined on the track by junior Jason Bois, who has his sights set on his own program record in the 110-meter hurdles, as well as sophomore Nate Okwaning in the 100-meter dash. In the field, juniors Nick Entner and Mason Lang both qualified for regionals in the javelin throw, with Entner seeded 17th among the field.
