Video of Coach Allison's Acceptance Speech for Team

The 1966 Union College men’s lacrosse team finished with a record of 10-1, the best men’s lacrosse win-loss percentage at Union from the 1930’s through the year 2000. The Dutchmen were coached by Bruce Allison, who was inducted individually into the Union College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. Union defeated Syracuse University, which was undefeated when it came to Schenectady. Union ended the season with a win over RPI. A total of six members of this team received All-American accolades during their careers. Only one of the six future All-Americans had previous lacrosse experience in high school competition. Members of this team previously inducted individually were Bruce Allison (head coach), Chris Schmid (assistant coach), Bob DeMichele (player) and Bob Ridings (equpment manager).
